fairmont chateau lake louise magazine

HOTEL & SPA

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise exists in a painting. What seems like a painting, anyway. An ethereal turquoise lake wrapped like a present in forested mountains and a glistening glacier. It’s stunning — and even that adulatory word doesn’t come close to describing it. Just one glimpse at the scene is a dose of wellbeing that will linger in your bones long after you’ve left the lake’s shores.

Wellbeing has always been the draw to the Chateau, and a future thermal wellness facility will heighten this experience even further.

With construction on this facility underway, I was engaged by Toolbox Design to strategize editorial direction and write all content for an in-room magazine. Its pages speak to the Chateau’s history of wellbeing, treatments in the future facility, the architect’s vision, sustainable practices, activities indoors and out, food and drink, and that ever-present wonder.

These stories were given life with evocative page design and imagery by Toolbox. The photography alone makes you want to sigh.

Brand magazines like this are a beautiful piece to offer guests. They’re a deeper experience of place, a memory to take home, something tactile in an age of digital overload.
