Soho House holds an annual filmmaking competition — Script House. Members are invited to submit a short film script aligned with a brand partner, somehow incorporating that brand’s product into the script. In 2018, the partner was IWC Schaffhausen — watches. My script, THE ONLY ONE, was selected as one of the 10 finalists.

I also submitted the script to Screencraft’s Short Film Competition in 2019, where it was selected as a quarterfinalist. 

In The Only One, Carlyle, a woman saddened by her non-existent love life, finds refuge one night in an old-fashioned dive bar. Here, she meets Giles, a sorrowful, mysterious man ruminating on a woman he lost long ago. The two strangers share an immediate familiarity and chemistry – until the night is abruptly ended and Carlyle discovers Giles’ true identity.
